Book Review | When Summer Ends, Isabelle Rae

Favorite book of all time. I could just end the post with that but I guess It might seem a little pointless? The official blurb for it is this:
"Chloe Henderson has never been one to break the rules or push the boundaries... but during her summer break, she and her friends use fake IDs to sneak into a club. It's there that she meets handsome and alluring bartender, Will Morris. The pair hit off immediately, growing closer with every passing day  But as with every summer, it has to end sometime.
Chloe's senior year approaches and there's a shock in store when she returns to do her final year at school. Will is there too, but he's not one of her fellow students...
A tale of forbidden love, broken hearts, friendship and rivalry."

I'm not going to lie, it didn't sound as good as some other things i'd read from that, it was almost a bit cheesy, but as soon as I read the first page I was glued to it. Some parts of this book are ever so slightly repetitive but you hardly notice to be honest. The writing style makes you really relate to it, and I was actually crying because it get's really emotional (doesn't take much for me to cry...).

I don't really know what to say other than read it, but just pointing out that I blog about a lot of things, anything really so expect more variety :))

Review & Love | Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation

So, I thought i'd review my most used foundation of 2012! It's Rimmel's Lasting Finish 25 hour coverage foundation. It can be found at around £6.99 ish at any normal shops like Superdrug, Boots, Sainsbury's etc.

So what's so great? The first thing I love about it is because I
have slightly oily & blotchy skin naturally, especially after exercise (p.e mostly, I feel like a deep fat fryer) is that when applied, the liquid is just the right consistency. I've been used to the cake mixture like foundations before (as fab as they are) but sometimes they're a bit too.. well, cakey!
It feels lovely and silky, and is just too easy to apply. I love having something easy and quick when I need it.
The next fabbity thing about it is the coverage. I couldn't stand having to constantly re-apply when I'm out and about.  A previous foundation I have tried was waxy and was like water on glass, It just wouldn't stay, so I'm glad to say that I really feel this is a good foundation.
Although it doesn't perfectly last as long as it says it does, It's good enough for the amount of time you'll actually spend out of the house.
A couple of friends have it too, all with different skin tones and it seems to match everyone's well. Recently, I trusted my Mum to buy me some foundation because I was too busy to go out. She bought shade 100 (the right shade, impressive) but it turned out orange. This is perfect!
The last thing I'll say is a lot comes in one bottle and I like the design of it. It's thick glass (I mean thick, I've dropped it on nearly every surface, so fab for clumsy people like moi), and the pump is good too. I use a few small squirts of it a time and it really does last.

I hope you might take my advice, because this has even topped the beloved Mary Kay foundation I used to have!
